October 8, 2023 (Sunday afternoon), Business School held a special academic lecture entitled "Graduation Design (Thesis) Topic Selection and Research" in D-3 205A lecture theatre. The lecture was presided over by Professor Li Jie, Vice Dean of Business School, and lectured by Associate Professor Chen Hao. 2020 cohort students from Business School attended the lecture.

First of all, Professor Li Jie, Business School Vice Dean, introduced the theme of this lecture: an overview of the process and writing methods, and shared the valuable points that need to pay particular attention to in the graduation thesis based on his own experience.

Then, Li Xueqi, the leader of the teaching affairs team (administrative), introduced the brief timelines, processes and precautions in graduation thesis topic selection and research in detail.

Subsequently, Lin Huiqi, a senior who graduated in 2019, shared her experience in selecting topics for her graduation thesis. She remind students to focus on the selection of topics, read more references,and pay attention to relevant notices of official documents and other issues on the official platform online.

Finally, Associate Professor Chen Hao explained the writing method of graduation thesis and a variety of practical suggestions.

This lecture focused on policy documents, workflows, link requirements, management methods and other aspects of comprehensively and explained the relevant work content of the graduation thesis in detail clearly. It put forward relevant precautions from the main points of college work and main points that students should pay attention to, and emphasized that students should fully realize the necessity and importance of the work of graduation thesis, then formulate practical and effective measures, strengthen and improve the management of graduation thesis links from the aspects of schedule, organization and implementation.

In this lecture, the students have gained a brief understanding of the graduation thesis writing. It is firmly believe that students can apply what they have learned in the later graduation thesis writing and write a thesis that satisfies themselves !
