On the afternoon of March 11, 2025, in Classroom 205 of the Shenzhen Technology University Business School, faculty and students from the 2023 International Business class gathered to attend a special lecture on supply chain management. This lecture was organized by Assistant Professor Qiulin Yang of the Business School, who invited Dr. Ruizhe Liu—a practical expert renowned for transforming cutting-edge technology into industrial strategies—to deliver a presentation titled“Supply Chain Strategies in Practice.”
Dr. Liu holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the National University of Singapore. He has served as a key member of the digital strategy team at Wuwu Cloud and is the founder of Seeingflow Through his innovative practice of implementing a GPT-driven property maintenance system, Dr. Liu not only significantly enhanced the efficiency of the service industry but also attracted tens of millions in state-owned investment, eventually earning a feature at the Shenzhen Data Exchange. On that day, drawing on his unique perspective that integrates technology, strategy, and humanized management, he provided an accessible yet in-depth analysis of practical supply chain operations, offering the attending faculty and students a fresh insight into the pragmatic wisdom underlying effective supply chain strategies.
During the lecture, Dr. Liu utilized a carefully prepared PowerPoint presentation to sequentially explain the fundamental concepts of supply chain management, including enterprise strategic positioning, pricing mechanisms, sales and operational strategies, as well as the pivotal role of financial instruments in supply chain optimization. He then systematically summarized the core content. In the subsequent interactive Q&A session, a student inquired about the analysis behind Xiaomi’s “high quality at low prices” approach. Drawing on his practical experience and the application of cutting-edge technologies, Dr. Liu adeptly addressed the query, sparking a lively and engaging discussion among both faculty and students.
This lecture not only provided an academic feast for the students but also offered valuable insights and inspiration for their future studies and explorations in supply chain management.
